Only new applicants who have successfully completed the application will be invited for an interview.
Interviews are generally conducted during March, following the January application deadline.
High school seniors
Interviews are generally conducted at your high school, and our interviewers will coordinate schedules through the school counseling office. The counseling office will contact you when your interview is scheduled.
Note: Applicants from high schools with very small enrollments will have their interview at the Scholarship Foundation office.
College and medical/graduate students
Interviews are conducted at the Scholarship Foundation office on Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. The Foundation will contact you by email to schedule an interview. Please notify us if your contact information changes.
Students currently attending college outside of Santa Barbara County should email the Foundation at [email protected] to indicate dates in March when they will be available in Santa Barbara for a personal interview.
A limited number of out-of-state students may request an early interview during December, only if their application is already complete. Skype interviews may be considered and are generally limited to out-of-state applicants. Please call the Foundation office at (805) 687-6065 or email [email protected] with questions.
