The Scholarship Foundation’s Honors Scholarship Program is for high school seniors in Southern Santa Barbara County* who demonstrate strong academic achievement. Financial need is not considered.
In addition to meeting general eligibility requirements, applicants must demonstrate high achievement (e.g., above a 4.2 weighted GPA). Grades in Advance Placement, Honors, International Baccalaureate, College Prep, and Dual Enrollment courses will also be taken into consideration. The completed application and required supplementary documents must be submitted by November 15.
*Southern Santa Barbara County includes Goleta, Santa Barbara, and Carpinteria
Required Supporting Documents
- Current unofficial high school transcript
- Two letters of recommendation (one of which must be an academic letter of recommendation)
What Happens After I Apply
After applications are evaluated, a select number of applicants will be invited to interview at the Scholarship Foundation office. Selected applicants will be notified during December.
