Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara Mission Statement

Through the granting of scholarships, we inspire, encourage and support Santa Barbara County students in their pursuit of college, graduate, and vocational education.

History

Awards Ceremony 2004

For 45 years, the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara has helped local students pay for their higher education – vocational, community college, or four year college or graduate school.

Beginning with nine $100 book awards in 1962, we have grown to $7 million in student aid for 2006-2007.

Thousands of Santa Barbara area individuals, families, businesses, foundations, and clubs and organizations have made our community-based scholarship program a model for other communities across the nation.
