South Coast Business & Technology Awards Overview

This is the 17th year of recognizing exceptional achievement.

The South Coast Business & Technology Awards was designed to honor individuals, organizations, and companies who have shown an extraordinary commitment to helping the South Coast of Santa Barbara County stay economically vital.

We are pleased to honor these outstanding 2011 Award recipients:

The five honorees have demonstrated excellence in business and technology as well as outstanding innovation, service, and leadership. They are top employers in our area and have a tremendous impact on our economy.

More than 80 incredible corporate sponsors are helping to ensure that the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara will receive over $125,000 in net proceeds this year to provide scholarship support for local students majoring in business and technology fields at UC Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara City College, and Westmont College. Over time, the South Coast Business & Technology Awards fund has provided 530 students with scholarship awards totaling more than $1.2 million.

This investment enhances economic development and the next generation of business leadership for our community. The students receiving these awards are home-grown talents that need and deserve our financial support.
